That...Dear anonymous,

Male’ Sports club of the year. That’s a laugh. Seriously, I don’t think this will be unfair to first division teams. If you look at it from the other side, only 1 second division team will qualify for the first division AND the national tournament. So second division teams will loose 2 opportunities to compete. The main aim is to devise a system that rewards performance. So if the second division team wins the division they get a fairly good chance to go high in the ranking. The other aspect we are looking is match performance. We want teams to perform in every match and take all matches seriously. That’s one of the reasons why we are thinking of giving bonus points. The first division tournament will be devised in a way that teams will get ample opportunity to play. Maybe two rounds before the final. So division 1 players will also get a chance to improve their individual ranking for the year.

Thanks for your input. Cheers,

Maldives Cricketmaldivescrickethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15907722917560109840noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5949588995814885444.post-43243615804247032882007-06-12T09:01:00.000+06:002007-06-12T09:01:00.000+06:00Dear anonymous,Male’ Sports club of the year.
